Fruit and Yogurt
Another quick and tasty fruit salad recipe. This fruit salad can eaten anytime, either as a breakfast, a light healthy snack or even a dessert. It’s perfect on a summer day for both kids and adults.
Take one red apple and cut into thin slices and place in a bowl, there’s no need to peel the apple first. Next take a good handful of either red or green grapes, cut these in half and add to the apple. Finally peel a juicy orange, separate the segments and chop into bite size chunks, add to the apple and grapes and mix the three fruits together.
Next you will need a tub of plain yogurt, pour over the fruit and mix well. Finally sprinkle some flaked almonds over the top.
As a variation, you could add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice to the yogurt.
