Haven’t we evloved beyond eating whales for christ sake? Foolish indeed.
When are we going to realise that humans are not natural predators.
Predators are naturally endowed with claws & sharp teeth with which to bite / impale their prey.
So come on then any volunteers to kill a whale by this means? No I thought not …
I’m going on hols to the Azores this summer, so I may give that a go, Kate
I’ll keep you posted.
I was unlucky and I didn’t spot any whales. I wonder how many are left. Then again, maybe they were just scared.
Sorv, could we maybe get close to this whale-like taste if we used canned dolphin-unsafe tuna?
If you need to use canned meat, then go for whale.

You would need someone to help you order it from Japan.
I could not get hold of even canned whale, so I used fresh horse meat. I have been told that horse meat taste almost like whale. And it was delicous
This is disgusting.
And Wit, maybe you would see more whales if sickos like you and Sorvoja didnt contribute to the mindless slaughtering of an endangered species..
There are 184000 mink whale in the world (with a 5% error margin), the annual catch is 1052 animals. So even with the whale hunting the number of mink whales are increasing. In short mink whale is not an endangered species.
In comparason there are about 1600 grey wolfes in the US Rockies, with about 100 being hunted every year, and you can not add wolf meat to a salad.
